In my opinion, foodwaste is a big problem around the world, specifically in some schools, fortunately in my school isn’t a big problem
because I have not seen lots of wasted food, yes I have seen one another, but in general, I have not seen much. Anyway, I hope to continue without wasting lots of food at my school so from there we believe awareness in young people and in the future to achieve major changes.

Currently, the FoodWaste is a problem that is getting out of control, but not only in Mexico, but throughout the world. But today I come to talk more specifically about the waste of food in my school (Upaep Sur), since in the time I have studied there I have noticed that the time of the breaks is when a considerable part of food is wasted, either because it is not They gave them time to finish, because they do not like it or simply because they are like that. Which is too worrying, because if at school these people do it, what they should do at home with the food. If we fail to raise awareness about this problem now, over time we will have a crisis that will have to do with the waste of food. We have to open our eyes from now on so we can begin to generate a change, first in ourselves and then in our society, if they do not want to do it for you, this is fine, do it for society, do it for the planet.

Foodwaste is a very common problem in some schools, in school cafeterias it happens with the unsold food, in my school some classmates interviewed the cafeteria lady she said foodwaste wasn’t common in our school and I have the same opinion, I rarely see students waste food the only thing i see is that sometimes careless students trow accidentally their food like some of my friends, I think is important to be worried about foodwaste because not all families in Mexico have access to eat food daily and I think they wouldnt
waste that food because possibly they recognize the real value of food
